Do I need to purchase a chiller?No, Cold Plunges are designed to operate with or without a chiller. A bypass valve is installed between the inlet and outlet piping. When the bypass valve is opened and both exterior valves are closed the water from the tub will circulate without the need of the chiller. In this case ice will need to be added.

Is there a filtration system?Yes there is an inline water filter that will filter the water from the pump to the chiller (if installed).

What is the Cold Plunge made out of?The interior frame and outer trim is made out of Canadian Cedar. Canadian Cedar will not mold or rot in the elements. The original trim is stained.

There are blemishes in the wood is this normal?Yes, natural woods such as cedar will have some imperfections, this adds to the rustic look and feel of the Cold Plunge.

Do I need a pump?No, a pump is included and built into the interior of the case.

Is the tub insulated?Yes the framework of the cold plunge is insulated using ridged foam insulation all around.

How can i change the water filter?The end panel is removable, water filer and pump are housed here for easy access.
